Great Ball Court, Chichen Itza, c. 900 AD — at 168 meters long, it is the largest ball court in Mesoamerica. The acoustics are astonishing; a handclap at one end carries clearly to the other, and the stone rings mounted high on the walls made scoring nearly impossible.
