Six hundred meters through the Muslim Quarter, tracing the traditional route Jesus walked carrying the cross to Golgotha. The 14 Stations of the Cross mark the path. Pilgrims walk it in procession. What strikes you is that this is also a market street — vendors, tourists, and the devout, all occupying the same alley. That overlap is very Jerusalem.
