Garden of Gethsemane, Jerusalem, Israel/Palestine
Some of the olive trees here have been dated to over 900 years old by core sampling — meaning they were alive during the Crusades. The Gospels place Jesus's prayer here the night before his arrest. The Basilica of the Agony stands on the site of earlier Byzantine and Crusader churches. It's quieter than the rest of the Old City. That's part of why it lands differently. © American Colony Photo Department, Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons
