Calvary and the empty tomb are both inside this building. Constantine's mother Helena commissioned it in 326 CE. Six Christian denominations share administration of it today — an arrangement so historically contentious that a Muslim family has held the key since 1187 AD. The church is authentic, complicated, and worth the crowd.
