Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem, Israel
Calvary and the empty tomb are both inside this building. Constantine's mother Helena commissioned it in 326 CE. Six Christian denominations share administration of it today — an arrangement so historically contentious that a Muslim family has held the key since 1187 AD. The church is authentic, complicated, and worth the crowd. © Diego Delso, CC BY-SA 3.0, via Wikimedia Commons
