Rano Raraku Quarry Moai, Easter Island — The unfinished giant moai Te Tokanga dominates the center of this view of the Rano Raraku quarry slopes. Had it been completed, Te Tokanga would have stood 21 meters tall, dwarfing every other statue on the island and raising profound questions about how the Rapa Nui intended to move it.
