Pompeii Lupanar (Brothel), Pompeii, Italy — The only purpose-built brothel identified in Pompeii had five rooms on each of two floors, with built-in stone beds and erotic frescoes above each door depicting the services available within. A graffiti price list on the walls has been deciphered by archaeologists studying the Latin inscriptions.
