Borobudur Archaeological Museum, Java, Indonesia — This museum adjacent to the temple houses the reliefs from Borobudur's hidden 'foot' — the lowest tier of panels depicting the realm of desire (Kamadhatu) that was covered by an additional stone wall shortly after the monument was completed. Only four corner panels remain exposed on the monument itself; the museum's collection allows visitors to understand the complete symbolic program.
