Via Dolorosa, Jerusalem, Israel — This 600-meter route through the Muslim Quarter of the Old City traces the traditional path Jesus walked carrying the cross to Golgotha. The 14 Stations of the Cross along its route draw Christian pilgrims who walk it in solemn procession, particularly on Good Friday when the streets fill with worshippers from around the world.
