Churning of the Sea of Milk Bas-Relief, Angkor Wat, Cambodia — This 49-meter-long carving depicts 92 asuras and 88 devas churning the cosmic ocean using Mount Mandara as a churning stick and the serpent Vasuki as rope. The scene represents the Hindu creation myth of extracting amrita, the elixir of immortality.
