Avenue of Sphinxes, Luxor, Egypt, c. 1400 BC, reopened 2021 — The 3-kilometer processional avenue of ram-headed sphinxes (criosphinxes) linking Karnak and Luxor Temples was ceremonially reopened in November 2021 after decades of archaeological work.
