Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem, Israel/Palestine — The silver-domed mosque at the southern end of the Temple Mount was completed by Caliph al-Walid I and can accommodate over 5,000 worshippers. It is considered the destination of the Prophet Muhammad's Night Journey, making it Islam's third holiest site.
