Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem, Israel — Built by Emperor Constantine and his mother Helena over the traditional sites of the Crucifixion and Resurrection, this church has been the primary Christian pilgrimage destination for 17 centuries. Its key has been held by the Joudeh Muslim family since 1187 AD, and opened daily by the Nuseibeh family as custodians.
